SOKO Wismar – After the tide comes death
Reuter and Helene Sturbeck have won a vacation on the North Sea island of Langeoog. Reuter, who had hoped for a quiet fishing vacation, is totally overwhelmed by the unusual togetherness. Things get even worse when Helene finds a dead body in the dunes. The young island policewoman Karine (Hanna Plaß), who normally doesn’t have that much to do, finds it all very exciting, but is completely inexperienced. So the energetic Helene must convince the reluctant Reuter to take on the case.
The dead woman is the daughter of fisherman Eike Lüders (Martin Luding). She supposedly ran away to Sweden a year ago after an argument with her drunken father. But apparently she was killed at that time. Reuter and Helene become more and more entangled in the microcosm of the island, and they are increasingly met with hostility. They ask questions that disrupt island life. So it becomes a less than relaxing vacation for Reuter and Helene, in which they soon find themselves in mortal danger.
