Die großen Kriminalfälle – Heinrich Pommerenke
SWR
A few days after Christmas 2008, the convicted murderer Heinrich Pommerenke dies in the prison hospital Hohenasperg. For 47 years, he sat behind bars for four murders and various other offences. As the District Court of Freiburg passes execution judgement on 22 October 1960, Konrad Adenauer is Chancellor and the Berlin Wall has not yet been built. No prisoner in the Federal Republic of Germany or the GDR spent more time in prison.
