After completing her studies in Theatre, Film and Telecast Sciences as well as Literature and Cultural Anthropology in Munich and Cologne, Wilma Harzenetter worked as a production assistant and later as head of productions especially for international co-productions.
Wilma Harzenetter was head of production for “The Flying Dutchman” a European co-production directed by Jos Stelling, covering for the German production partner.
She supervised the coproduction “The Passion of Darkly Noon” with Brendan Fraser and Viggo Mortensen in leading roles, as production manager.
She was involved as an associate producer for the German-American coproduction “I Love You, I Love You Not” with Claire Danes, Jude Law and Jeanne Moreau.
From 1997 until 2000, she developed the content and concept for the curriculum of the Internationale Film school Cologne and was in charge of organizing the training- and further education department.
Since 2002 she has been taking care of the ZDF series Soko Wismar as a producer. She is also responsible for several episodes of the series as dramatic adviser.
