Kathi (15) and Tina (16) live in the 300-strong village Eichenried in Lower Bavaria and attend the same school in the district town. The two unequal girls have not much to do with each other. While Kathi is open and its environment, nor childish, but directly and fearlessly met the precocious Tina lives withdrawn strange. In the evening takes place in Eichenried the annual Firemen's Ball. While Kathi helps out in the highly closed dirndl as a waitress, Tina provoked the villagers with deep decollete dress and a cheeky appearance. The alcohol flows like water, and with it the inhibitions fall. Tina flirts shamelessly with Kathi's step-father Tom, who is unpopular in the village as part Reister. Confused and unhappy observed Kathi, as her stepfather, Tina follows into the open. On the morning after the party is found murdered Tina. Superintendent Brennecke examined from the county town, by the glow of the idyllic village pattern unimpressed with the facts. In Tina's autopsy notes that shortly before her death had sexual intercourse and pregnant. But her last lover is not the father of the child. Kathi, shocked by the news of his death is, her step-father Tom for his conduct at the party to task .... She believes though, that he has not killed Tina, forces him, however, to admit the infidelity of the mother and to face the authorities. The mother reacts with the sacked Tom, what does not accept Kathi. In desperation, she seeks counsel with the attorney who lives in Tina's house next door, not knowing that this had an affair with Tina and the father of her unborn child. As will be asked all the male villagers to the gene test, which until recently still gets published as safe world of the village Eichenried out of joint. At the end of this tragedy that has left its scars all over, nothing is as it was before, even if daily life goes on. And from a young adult Kathi has become.
