In 2000, scientists in Göttingen announce a sensational breakthrough in cancer research. About 400 patients are treated subsequently with a novel therapy. A short time later, it turns out that the basic study full of blunders and the treatment was useless. But other than a "pawn" there are no consequences. The film screened an academic system that is vulnerable to such scandals.
