Dagmar Rosenbauer was born in 1956. After her graduation in theater-, film-, and TV-studies she worked as an editor in the culture resort for the WDR-television from 1982 on. She was awarded the Grimme-Prize for the culture magazine “Freistil”. From 1990 to 1992, she worked as the personal assistant of WDR’s president Friedrich Nowottny, and subsequently, until 1995, as producer for the Regina Ziegler Filmproduktion in Berlin. Since 1996, she has been producing high-class TV-Movies and two-parters as the general manager of the Multimedia Berlin, operating under the name of Cinecentrum Berlin from January 2002 on. As a producer, Dagmar Rosenbauer has won numerous national and international prizes for productions such as “Der Grenzer und das Mädchen” (awarded with the Rencontre Internationales de Television for best leading actor and best screenplay, 2005, CIVIS media award 2005, and nominations for the Grimme Award and FIPA 2006).
