Born in 1967, spent a few years at a theater before she studied Film- and Television Science as well as Art History and graduated with an M.A. from the FU Berlin. During her time at the university, she worked in television as a production assistant for Thomas Schadt, a location manager for VTTV, and a lector and dramatic advisor for Ziegler Film.
Since 1998, she has produced countless TV-movies and TV-series, culminating in the opening of her own one-man-business in 2004. In various kinds of cooperation, she is responsible as a producer for the cine film “UmDeinLeben” in co-production with the ZDFtheaterkanal (Intern. Filmfestival Munich 2009) as well as the documentary “Thieme – King of Pain” (ZDF/3SAT, Intern. Filmfestival Munich 2008). In 2009, she started teaching the topic Series at the Author School in Hamburg.
Since 2005, she works together closely with the Cinecentrum Berlin, where she oversees the ZDF-series “Soko Wismar.”
